• Adverse effects:  Limited rabbit data is located. Common adverse effects in the authorised target species include azotaemia, hypotension, and hyperkalemia, which are all reasons to stop or reduce ACE-inhibitor treatment. Azotaemia is particularly important for moderate to severe kidney disease or dehydration.

• Contraindications: Limited rabbit data is located. Common contraindications in the authorised target species include animals at risk of hypotension. Avoid use in animals intended for breeding, pregnant or lactating animals. Avoid use in cardiac output failure due, for example, to aortic stenosis and in cases of known hypersensitivity.
